Peyton &amp; Micah's Story Micah and Peyton met in the spring of 2022 while attending Texas A&amp;M University. At the time, Micah was preparing to leave for a week-long road trip with the Aggie Baseball Team, but neither of them wanted to wait for his return to have their first date. Before heading out of town, Micah picked Peyton up for breakfast at First Watch. What began as a simple breakfast quickly turned into effortless conversation, shared values and interests, laughter, and a genuine connection. They couldn't wait to see each other again. One of Peyton's favorite things about dating and getting to know Micah was the intentionality he brought to pursuing her. He thoughtfully planned dates with Peyton in mind, from trips to the zoo and dinners at her favorite spots in College Station to rounds of putt-putt followed by ice cream. Along the way, he was always opening doors, leading with kindness, and blessing their meals together. When Micah described Peyton to his mom after the first couple of dates, he remembers using the phrase “a breath of fresh air”. She knew who she was and did not wavier from that. He was always treated with kindness and selflessness. She instantly became his best friend and rock. Throughout all the uncertainty he had about his future, there was always one constant knowing Peyton was going to be part of it. Over the next few years, they built a relationship rooted in love, faith, and unwavering support for one another. Through long-distance stretches as Micah pursues professional baseball with the Oakland Athletics organization and Peyton builds her career in commercial real estate in Dallas, they continued to grow together while creating memories along the way. Some of their favorite times have come from traveling and exploring new cities throughout Micah's baseball career, with Arizona during Spring Training becoming a favorite annual tradition. On December 4, 2025, Micah proposed on a dock overlooking the water in St. Lucia, and Peyton happily said yes. They are incredibly grateful for the love and support of their family and friends and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with everyone on their wedding day.

We invite guests that are interested in a convenient travel weekend to stay at Bowie House. The rooms are lovely, both room service and a sit down restaurant are available, and the wedding reception will be held here on Saturday evening.

Located on Camp Bowie, only a short drive down the street to the Bowie House.
